Mary Frohlich, author of the recent Orbis book The Heart at the Heart of the World: Re-Visioning the Sacred Heart for the Ecozoic Era, is the guide of this week-long hiking retreat. After ecospiritual input and prayer, the group will hike each morning on moderate trails in varying terrain (4-6 miles on average). Afternoons will offer ample free time, and a public ocean beach is a ten-minute walk from the house. The venue is a 5-bedroom vacation house, so cooking and rooms will be shared (2 to a room). Forest Therapy and Qigong experiences will also be included.
