A Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration is a life-long ecological advocate in her university teaching, retreat leading and environmental issue presentations. I am serving on the LCWR (Leadership Conference of Women Religious) Global Concerns Committee and have worked with NCR (National Catholic Reporter) on EarthBeat.
I have a passion for the sacred dimensions of all of creation and learning to live in “right relationships” with self, others, God and Earth. I was a professor of Teacher Education for 25 years before joining the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration Congregation in 2002. My contributions for our Franciscan community include achieving a net zero energy totally recyclable greenhouse and sustainable model garden, and our FSPA natural burial site.
