In 2005, I turned my attention to the unfolding ecological crisis after 23 years with the Religious Task Force on Central America & Mexico in Washington DC. I wrote a book: Living Beyond the ‘End of the World:’ A Spirituality of Hope, 2008, Orbis.
My book launched many years of speaking and leading workshops on the connections among ecology, culture, and spirituality. Currently, I am a gardener at Alice’s Garden Urban Farm in Milwaukee, a community advocate and animator. I continue to look for opportunities to conduct workshops and group reflections focused on what has gone horribly wrong in the relationships among humans, and between humans and the planet which have led to the crises we currently face. My work is sponsored by the non-profit Center for New Creation.
